Schools Competition
COMPETITION DETAILS
Prepare a PowerPoint Presentation that shows the most effective way of communicating features/aspects/ideas on KiwiSaver to Secondary School Students.
- The presentation must be no less than 10 slides, no longer than 5 minutes duration.
- Contain ten Positive Points, two Negative Points (if applicable, together with arguments to address negative points) and four Action /How To Points.
- Competition opens 9th May 2011 and closes 3rd August 2011.
- Judging will be undertaken by Carmel Fisher, of Fisher Funds, Clair Macpherson Jones and Kathy Jarrett members of the Institute of Financial Advisers
during 3rd -6th August 2011. - Winner's School Principal will be contacted on or around 8th August 2011.
- Winner will be notified by the 10th August 2011.
RULES
- All entrants must be enrolled in a Secondary School.
- Consent of the principal of the nominated Educational Institution Provider must be obtained on the entry form, acknowledging the entrant's involvement.
- Consent must be given to IFA and Fisher Funds by the winner and his/her school to participate in any reporting/publicity about the competition.
- Consent of a parent or guardian must be obtained, attesting that the work is the entrant's own work.
- Family of Authorised Financial Advisers, Registered or Institute of members and their business entities and staff are excluded.
- The entrant must be available for a prize-giving presentation during Financial Awareness Week 15th -19th August 2011.
- The prize is for an individual and cannot be shared, all entries are therefore individual.
- The entrant must consent to the winning entry being utilised by the IFA and Retirement Commissioner as research and insight into communicating financial concepts to students.
- No guarantee of return or retention of PowerPoint entries, so each individual should ensure they retain copies of their presentation.
- Judges reserve the right to award no prize should the standard of entries be below reasonable expectations.
- The judge's decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.

PRIZE
- $1,000 deposited by Fisher Funds to the Fisher Funds KiwiSaver – Growth Fund, in winning Student’s Name.
- $1,000 cash to the winners school.
PLEASE NOTE:
Where the winner does not have a current KiwiSaver account, the Kickstart of $1,000 will also be contributed to the winners KiwiSaver Scheme by Government via Inland Revenue provided that it is available.

The First prize will be a $1,000 contribution to a Fisher Fund KiwiSaver account for the winning student, and $1,000 paid to the student's secondary school as a donation.
